Our website received an average of more than 18,000 visits per month (around 600 visitors per day) over the last 12 months. It struck us this Australia Day weekend 2008 that some of those visitors might just be interested in other things as well.
So, starting from scratch, we wondered how quickly we could build up traffic to another website with a link from this one.
It would need to be not related to website design or hosting.
How about Australian Writing?
The new website could contain writing tips, publishing tips, writers profiles, contributing authors writing stories, poems, articles.
We'll just build it up from nothing, and see just how long it takes to get traffic.
First step to getting it listed in search engines it to put a link to it here:

It will take the search engines a week to list it so we have time to prepare some content.
