Hosting plans:
- All plans have: PHP, Perl, CGI scripting, FTP access and Log file access for subdomains. This is under whichever of our Linux hosting plans you choose, but start with the Mini
$26 per year plan.
- Plan upgrades are fast if you need more space or traffic allowances.
- Not available to stand-alone subdomain hosting is on-line access to Log file statistics like Webalizer or AWStats.
But these utilities can be be downloaded freely and used on your own computer. MySQL databases can be setup by us as owners of the domain names. (Of course you may eventually upgrade to a registered domain name with a hosting control panel).
- It's cheaper to register a domain name and point it to your ISP's free web space, but you can only do that for one website, whereas we can provide AS MANY SUBDOMAINS AS YOU LIKE. Also, ISP's don't allow PHP, Perl or CGI scripting or databases, so you are stuck with only a basic website with no interactive forms, common headers and footers, or special effects.
- Our hosting of subdomains can be permanent or it can be just while you are deciding on a domain name. (But shsh: Some people use this as a low cost method to create safe meaningful links to their main website to help its search engine ranking).
